At Jonite, our journey to creating the world’s first reinforced stone grate began with inspiration from architecture masterminds. We saw an opportunity to bring the same beauty and appeal of Middle Age stone castles to today’s landscape. After seven years of researching and perfecting our materials, we released the first commercially viable reinforced stone gratings the world has ever seen.

Created from 95% natural aggregates and advanced hybrid polymers, Jonite architectural grates provide a finish which is both luxurious and natural to the touch, enabling architects to create unified designs from grates to street furniture and more.

Reinforced with specially treated steel frames, Jonite grates provide stunning load bearing performance and are compliant to international load standards. Jonite stone products have high flexural, compressive and impact strength, low water and heat absorption.
Theft Resistant
Conventional steel and cast iron grates and castings are highly susceptible to theft due to rising scrap value worldwide. Jonite hardscape products however, do not pose any value for scrap due to their stone material integrity.
